This Hanna industrial pH probe has been specically designed to be used for CIP (Clean-In-Place) and SIP (Sterilize-In-Place) applications. CIP (Clean-In-Place) refers to an automated process that cleans equipment using water and detergents without requiring disassembly, whereas SIP (Sterilize-In-Place) employs high-temperature steam to sterilize equipment, eliminating microorganisms typically after, but occasionally before, the CIP procedure. This specialized electrode features a high temperature glass pH sensor, low maintenance gel electrolyte, and a rugged PVDF body with PG13.5 external thread for mounting. Intended for industrial use when paired with the HI510 or HI520 Universal Process Controller, the system allows for shared management of settings between controller and probe. The probe manages temperature compensation and bu¨er calibration settings whereas the controller manages application settings dened by process requirements.
